Kathleen Putnam, WHNP-BC

Kathleen Forst Putnam is a board certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with 25 years of experience in caring for women. She earned her Master’s degree and PhD in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia.

She has published research in the field of mid-life women and military families. She retired from the United States Navy Nurse Corps in 2014 after serving in many exciting areas of the world. She is passionate about women’s health, and helping women to attain their best health possible.

She and her husband have 4 grown children and lots of grandchildren. Spending time with everyone in their large family is very special. Whenever she isn’t working, she loves reading, writing, needlework and gardening, and participating in local “walking” road races.
